Bill C-29

is an Act to provide for the establishment of a National Council for Reconciliation. The act was amended by the Senate Committee to include the Congress of Aboriginal People (CAP) on the National Council for Reconciliation.

CAP is an Indigenous organization that has been a recognized & funded by the federal government since 1971.
